Our Staff - James Richardson

James Richardson, MA, LP, LSP – Jim Richardson is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed School Psychologist. He and his wife Kathy have been married for 24 years and live in Woodbury with their seven children. He is the Director of Services at Psychological Resource Group located in Woodbury, MN.

Jim completed his formal training at the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin at River Falls where he earned his master’s degree and an additional 42 credits of specialized training in educational psychology. While attending college he worked part time for the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention Center with at-risk youth. Over the past 25 years he has conducted countless assessments and assisted in intervention planning on children and adults with a broad array of learning disorders and mental health conditions. Each year he conducts training sessions for educational personnel, parents and businesses throughout the Twin Cities. Over the years Jim has also offered his time and training skills to the Archdiocese as part of their mission in the Marriage and Family Life community.

Outside of work, Jim is actively involved in coaching, golfing and biking. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids play sports. Every once in a while he may be caught napping on Sundays.
